For my hunting, I enjoy my week or longer backpacking sojourn searching for Sambar deer in the Australian Alps as well as going for an armed wander on cool lowland morning before work chasing a croaking fallow. Backpacks are an essential part of the journey; they must be reliable and functional, and there are two mainstays ready to go, both Tatonka: a Modulas X1 with a 75 +10L bag and a Stealth 30L.
