Hard wearing and moisture resistant

The Tatonka 85 L Barrel is a high-quality bag made from hard-wearing, easy-care nylon material. Abrasion-resistant material is used for the bottom of the bag, which is padded to protect the contents.
Both of these materials have waterproof TPU coatings. Whilst the bags are not fully waterproof (zips and stitching compromise this), they do offer protection against brief exposure to showers, splashes and wet surfaces.

Carrying options

Comfortable carrying handles plus side grab handles make it easy to carry the bag for short distances, check in at the airport, or load into a vehicle.
Using the detachable backpack shoulder straps makes it easier to carry the bag for longer distances as well as freeing hands for carrying other items.

Wide opening lid and other functional features

The large, zippered opening of the Barrel bag makes packing and unpacking gear easier.
A zip mesh pocket under the lid provides quick access for small items, and 2 other internal pockets help keep bag contents organised.
External compression straps mean the volume of a partially full bag can be reduced if needed.
