Women's backpack that is ideal for steeper terrain
This versatile 24 litre Women backpack features a contact back carrying system for better balance, a detachable hip belt and has back access to the main compartment.

The contact carrying system sits firmly on your back. This, together with the padded hip belt and adjustable chest strap stop the pack from moving around even when you are scrambling in steep country.

The shoulder straps are adapted to the female anatomy and the back padding has a ventilation channel and air-permeable AirMesh to help air circulation.

Clever features for the via ferrata
Beginning climbers who are bridging the gap between hiking and scrambling in steep country and technical rock climbing can use via ferratas to help them.

The Norix 24 Women is ideal for this activity. The gear loops on the hip belt and shoulder strap can be used to attach the carabiners from the via ferrata set if you need to tackle passages without a safety harness. To prevent the hip belt and climbing harness from getting in each other's way, you can also remove the hip belt. When you've finished on the via ferrata there is a fastening option for your climbing helmet on the front of the backpack.

Via ferrata - Italian for "iron way". A protected climbing route built with fixed cables, ladders, rungs, and bridges anchored into rock faces. Climbers use a harness and special lanyards to stay constantly attached to the safety cable. In New Zealand there are via ferratas located on Takaka Hill and at Wanaka.

Versatile storage options and additional access from the back
In addition to the main compartment, the Norix 24 Women features a lid compartment, an elasticated front pocket and elasticated side pockets to store equipment. There are also gear loops on the front and elastic drawstrings on the lid and base.

For easiest access to items packed at the bottom of the backpack use the all-round zipper on the back. This way the carrying system is not on the wet ground or in the snow.

The Norix 24 Women also has hydration system preparation and a rain cover in the bottom compartment.
